A Master Bath & Kitchen Remodel
Project
Due to
lifestyle changes, children married and starting families of their own, our
client wanted to build an entirely new Master Bedroom Suite above the existing
two car garage/family room area. This would in turn allow the existing Master
Bedroom Suite to be used for overnight visits for children, grandchildren, etc.
The added Master Suite is composed of
a sixteen by twenty-two foot sleeping chamber, eight by eighteen foot
Walk-in-Closet and fourteen by twenty-one foot Master Bath.
The Master Bath features a five by six
foot twenty four inch deep whirlpool tub. The client selected an oversized tub
so that several grandchildren could enjoy it at the same time.
The double vanity cabinet which is ten
feet long, has a marble slab top with double under mount layers, and generous
storage.
An oversized (five by eight feet)
glass enclosed shower features "bleacher" seating to accommodate multiple
grandchildren. The stationary shower head is supplemented with a hand-held
shower and multiple body spray heads, controlled by a separate pressure
balanced mixing valve.
A five foot long dressing/make-up
vanity and private water closet complete the suite. Interior design finishes
are Louis XIV, with marble slab and tile, tub chandelier, full width/height
clear bevel edged mirrors with over-mount sconce fixtures.
